  • This hotel was perfect for our family (2adults 1child) city break to New York. In the heart of Chelsea and close to Penn Station it made transferring from Newark airport to the hotel really simple and cheap! The rooms are on the smaller side but we didn’t mind as spent very little time at the room. The two double beds were very comfy and just what we needed after an exhausting day exploring the city. Great shower and the rooms were cleaned daily. Reception staff were very informative and were happy to arrange luggage storage on arrival and departure. Some people have complained about the lift being slow but I didn’t gave any issues with this. Some morning it stopped a lot before reaching reception (we were on the 20th floor) but I enjoyed seeing everyone in the morning and all guests were very friendly. We had an Empire State Building view room which was worth the little extra for first timers ( which some of our party were).

    Disliked · The elevators (2) are sooooo slow. and one of them was broken most of the time. fixed and broken again. when you take the stairs, and the stairs are filled with trash and house keeping bags.
