We had a king size bed and it was so comfortable!
They give you giant hot cookies when you check in! Was a nice surprise.
Good Location: It’s close to the Staten Island ferry, boat to Statue of Liberty, subway station to anywhere and lower Manhattan sites are a few minutes walking. The round the city bus tours that you can hop on and off from stop close by as well. We were there over a weekend and it was super quiet, which was nice. There is a nice family restaurant across the street and room service is from the Italian restaurant in the lobby. Get the Tiramisu, you won’t regret it!
There is a Walgreens on the corner with some ready made food. Also Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts around the corner.
They held our luggage on the last day so we could go out after checking out. Staff was very nice, especially the cleaning crew!

Disliked · 1. No fridge in the room.
2. We were on the 9th floor and at busy times we had to wait 20 minutes for the elevators. I would recommend booking a lower floor or not arriving or exiting near checkout time. We took the stairs once.
3. Snack bar is outrageously priced, go to Walgreens on the corner
4. There is a bar near the entrance of the hotel and lots of people were outside smoking. It made the walk to and from the subway very unpleasant.
5. Walls are really thin. We had loud neighbors and we heard EVERYTHING!

Location was near the subway. There were also wonderful restaurants and cafes around. We stayed during the Christmas holiday and the area was not as busy. The cookies they give you when you check-in was really yummy!

Disliked · The elevators took a really long time and the fitness center was quite small. These minor details can be overlooked because of the location and the friendliness of the staff.

· Very small bathroom for two persons. Very loud heating.
