Guest reviews

  • Lovely room, a bit on the small side for a standard hotel room but quite roomy compared to an average New York hotel. Everything was shiny and clean, the staff always professional and friendly, location was excellent. Comfy bed, nice pillows and sheets, soft-close drawers on the desk. Quiet. A great place for a theater weekend: close to Times Square but away from the madness and tourist throngs at the thick of it.

Disliked · I was surprised that there was only a single elevator — even the service people and their carts had to share it. Not a big deal and I usually didn’t have to wait long, but still: surprising. The beautiful classic NY bathroom was a little tight and could have been better designed. A good size closet but no dresser: had to use the desk drawers. The hotel is undergoing renovations so didn’t have a functioning restaurant on-site (though room service is provided from Daniel Boulud’s restaurant next door).

A very nice hotel, convenient to everything, far enough away from Times Square's madding crowds.

    Great hotel
  • We liked everything. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect. One block away from the shops on 5th Avenue, two blocks to Broadway. Parking is right across the street.

Disliked · Room 302 is right next to the gym. If someone let’s the door slam it is startling. Especially during the night.

2nd time at The Iroquois Hotel, looking forward to many more.
  • The Iroquois offers comfort and convenience within easy walking distance of theaters, very good restaurants, and Grand Central Station. The room was small but not cramped, and the bed very comfortable. Hosts at the front desk and doormen were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were efficient and prompt. We will stay again.

Disliked · I could be nit picky about the paper products and scant toiletries, but only because the property bills itself as a luxury boutique hotel.
