  • Everything within the hotel especially the front desk staff which are making you feel comfortable as if you’re at home and A VIP costumer .
    The room was really neat and clean. Hotel already in a great location and inside the hotel different restaurants and most of are accepting entertainer vouchers

    Disliked · The beach isn’t operated by the Hotel but it’s operated by Azur beach which they make you feel uncomfortable and as if they are doing you a favour for letting you using the beach

  • It was my first stay at a Rixos property.
    It’s located in an excellent central area in JBR beach which is about 5 minutes’ walk from my house. My visit was solely to enjoy a relaxing weekend stay during covid period as I can’t travel. The hotel has done well to ensure social distancing measures have been met throughout common areas. There was also a door sign that my room was disinfected which made me feel safe.
    The rooms
    Spacious, clean and well appointed. I was in a Premium sea view corner room no. 3416. The room also has nice bathroom amenities. The only disappointment was the design which isn’t Rixos staff’s fault. Lying on the bed is the view of a big residential building which meant you couldn’t see the sea view till you slept the opposite direction which is impossible, or walked to the window. It would have been nice to enjoy the Seaview whilst lying on the bed.
    The service/staff — Some memorable mentions..
    Ahmed Mostafa — Front office, was amazing. He offered an early check in and upgraded me from a city to a sea view Premium room which was quite delightful. Check in was super swift, took about 5 minutes, the fastest I’ve ever checked in.
    Sufyan – Concierge — Immediately I entered the hotel he was right by my side assisting with luggage both check in and out. I felt like a super repeat guest he had met before. Very lovey friendly polite guy! A true definition of what hospitality is.
    Sandy Hartak – He was there during my check-out and was so friendly and kind and offered a good rate on my next return. Thank you for your professionalism & care.
    I never got to meet the HK team but they did a fantastic job!
    Azure – Mia was amazing. I invited a friend over for drinks and she took great care of my orders & was friendly. The pool and beach area is very impressive.

    Disliked · Turquoise restaurant – Attentive staff. The restaurant was open one day for breakfast but then the second day it was closed and I had to order in room dining. One restaurant staff mentioned that it was because of low hotel occupancy but another said it was due to municipality so I’m not certain what was accurate but low hotel occupancy made more sense.

    As many have mentioned, the pool doesn’t belong to the hotel. It’s managed by a 3rd party which means there are a lot of outside paying guests and inhouse aren’t a priority so finding a pool sunbed was impossible.
    There was a message in the room from the hotel via loud speaker which woke me up.
    There was drilling noise outside my door past midnight by engineering for nearly 20 minutes.
