Room: bed was super comfy, exceptionally clean, coffee in room was excellent although wish there was more than just one pod each

Really enjoyed my stay here — the room was clean and comfortable, the shower was great, the WiFi was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is really good — I suppose if you’re going to be doing a lot in Times Square or north of that you might want to be closer, but this is a very good ‘compromise’ location between Midtown and SoHo/the Villages/Financial District. I saw a lot of mentions of noise in some other reviews and as it happened I was in a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the street and the noise was… nothing exceptional. It’s New York City, so there’s going to be some street noise, but unless you’re a really light sleeper you should be fine.

Disliked · The one downside was the bar. The website boasts of this amazing rooftop bar and it wasn’t open once during my stay. Even the regular bar seems to close really, really early. Maybe it was an off-peak thing (my stay was in early March) but it was a little surprising and disappointing. By no means a dealbreaker though.

Beds were very comfortable. No street noise very quiet at night. In NY that is unusual.and so important when you are trying to sleep.No bus noise, no siren, no people talking. Bathroom was modern and well equipped. Wifi was strong signal. Well situated for trains.

Disliked · Sheets had small tear on them and slightly discolored in places.
