The Roger is a fixture on fashionable Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. A boutique hotel where uptown elegance meets downtown cool, The Roger is known as much for its high level of service as its chic guest rooms by interior designer Annette Jaffe.

The Roger is located within a 5 minute walk of the Empire State Building or Madison Square Garden, a 10 minute walk to the Flatiron District, and a 15 minute walk to Times Square.

This NoMad hotel has 194 spacious guest rooms (including select rooms with private terraces and balconies) featuring flat screen TV’s, in-room safe, WiFi, and CO Bigelow bath amenities.

The Breakfast Pantry is filled with homegrown food from local culinary spots including Sarabeth’s, Balthazar and Ceci Cela.

The Roger exudes stylish comfort, from the never-before-seen photos of celebrities that decorate the lobby’s exposed brick walls, to Anna Busta designed public spaces that beckon guests to sit back, relax, and enjoy a late afternoon manager hosted wine reception.

NoMad is a great choice for travelers interested in museumsarchitecture and skyline views.

  • I liked the fact that they were so friendly with my daughter because I went back to Belgium with her phone and her wallet, I didn’t realize till I was at the airport, so she had nothing anymore and was alone without money or card or phone in NYC, she returned at the hotel and they helped her and gave her what she needed to take a train back to her university. Thank for your help!!! I appreciate that and I will definitely come back next time I visit her!!!

  • Very Friendly staff upon arrival and were given a free upgrade. Location is great. Has a Peloton bike which was an added bonus.

Disliked · Some may not appreciate the small bathrooms but if you are planning to be out enjoying New York then this won’t be an issue. There were some issues with the lift during our stay but we didn’t let that affect us.

Smart hotel with very welcoming staff situated in a perfect location, ideal for exploring
  • Great location in Midtown, near a good selection of restaurants on Lexington.
Comfortable bed, room was as quiet as could be expected for the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked · The bathroom was surprisingly small, but had all we needed.
The breakfast was a limited selection for the price especially for vegetarians.
Coffee in the lobby in the morning was good but we would have preferred a machine in the room.

  • The hotel is really nicely decorated. The room was mostly nice but very tiny even though we took the most expensive non family room. The bathroom is really tiny and the shower is meh. I enjoyed the complementary happy hour however even the bottle of water next to our bed was 7$ which is not really hospitable.
