  • The Surrey was great. Not you, Booking.com. I reserved with you a double queen bed room, and they did not have one available. It seems that sometimes you just go ahead and book, despite whatever. At the Surrey, they did their best to accommodate us and with no extra cost, they provided us an extra room where we could fit.

  • · The room is spacious, plenty of light and kept clean daily. The bed large and comfortable. Cozy atmosphere. Newspapers provided every morning. The staff were polite and helpful. The location is amazing, few steps away from Central Park and The MET.

    Disliked · My biggest remark was that staff were more reactive than proactive (inconsistent). I had to ask for a coffee machine when my room should have had one. I had to ask for coffee capsules and water every single day despite having a daily room service and the valets at the door sometimes would open the door for the guests other times just stand there and watch.

  • Location is good in relatively less noisy area in Manhattan. People of the hotel are good.

    Disliked · Good hotel, but not excellent compaired with other similar priced ones.
    I stayed in the room of «City view deluxe king salon» on 12/14-15 and paid around $1000 for a night. Even though that’s a very high season, but I didn’t feel the room was worth of the amount. Again, this is a good hotel, but not excellent. The view from the room was not good and the room was tiny.
